Neumann W495STB/m (stereo eq)
Mastering version of the W495Stb with gain modfication. Gain steps hi/lowband are 1,2,3,4.5,7.5dB.  Midband with 1,2,3,4,5 dB gain. Neumann equipped its mastering desks SP77  with this type of eq (OEV,OE-DUO). The 495 STB has transformer balanced inputs and electronical balanced outputs.

BFE/Filtek MKIII (eq pair)
This is one of the most versatile models in the German EQ range. The basic sound is rather modern, clear and precise. Due to the overlapping parametric bands and the variable high and low pass filters, even extremely surgical applications are possible. Also, at extreme frequency settings in combination with a broad bandwidth, the high and low bands make excellent shelving filters.

NTP 179-160 (compressor/limiter/expander)

The NTP 179-160 combines the functions of three separate instruments in one: High-level signals are processed by the limiter function, the desired dynamic range is assured by the mid-range compressor/expander, and the low-level expander keeps the noise level down. Despite the complexity of the frontpanel functions, the engineer will soon familiarize himself with this compressor.

Neumann U473 (compressor/limiter/expander)
Neumann's U473 is a VCA  based compressor,  transformer balanced with the following features: 10dB variable input/output gain, release time from 0.1-10s in 7steps, auto release, attack 0.25, 2.5, 25ms ratio:5:1/3:1/2:1/1,5:1/1:1. stereolink, bass cut de-ess function. Expander with threshold and release settings. By the way, the U473 is the only compressor built by Neuman.

EMT 258
EMT's noise filter is a low pass filter whose turnover frequency is program controlled. The filter adjusts itself in just a way as to leave the program modulation unchanged while attenuating the higher frequency noise components. Siemens V276
Along with TAB‘s V376, the Siemens V276 is maybe the most vintage and fat sounding German solid state pre - in part this might be due to the neve-like arrangement of the transformer output, where the transformer’s primary winding is DC-biased. The rack includes phantom power, phase reverse and internal psu.

Telefunken V672
The 672 was designed as multipurpose amp. Today it becomes increasingly popular as mic preamp. Our basic rack includes phantom power, phase reverse, a 20dB gain pad and  a 6 step rotary switch with a gain range from 32 to 56dB. Other configurations available on request.

H481 / Ntp meter
This rack contains a Neumann H481 tone generator and a Ntp 277-400 peak meter.  The generator sinus frequencies are 63Hz/330Hz/1kHz/7kHz/10kHz/14kHz. The output volume is variable.  With this rack you are able to align nearly every analog device in your studio setup. This is also a very helpful tool for checking cable wiring and phase problems. The NTP includes a phasemeter, noise levels can be measured up to -70dB.
